After your rather disastrous foray into the Arkturan bounty hunter's escape route, a buzzing sound emenates from Teya'Vra's clothes, likely an alert from a communicator. He... or she... whatever Teya is, isn't very forthcoming with information about who may or may not be trying to contact... I'll just use the male pronoun; him. He excuses himself, and moves outside the room, not leaving the impression that he'll be back soon. You are left to your own devices. ...The Elsa should be resupplied by now.

Treya says, "Elsa keep an eye on our new guest."

Keisho "Are you alright Treya?" Drops the net to the ground after helping Treya out.

From afar, Upton is currently watching over Renold.

Upton, as Renald works on the device, you are left with little to do.

Upton is re-securing the base of the captain's seat into the floor of the Elsa as you enter. Elsa chimes "Hello, Treya. Greetings, Ms. Keisho."

Keisho says, "Thank you Elsa. Call me Keiko while I'm like this.""

Treya says, "H'llo Elsa, get ready to get us off this dump."

Upton looks up, "Howdy Cpatian , Howdy Keiko, how did the resupply trip go?

Upton goes to check on Renald and see what other maintance he can do

Keiko Sighs cause she was curious as to whats on the vid com. She shrugs and heads to the Galley and makes a peanut butter samich.

Upton will go to a console and see if Elsa's computer and programming needs any maintenance and to see how much access he has on her.

The view screen in your quarters displays an image of a uniformed man, with a long gray moustache and shoulder length gray hair. His face has a rather serious, but somewhat pleased look on it as he begins. "Hello. You're an accomplished bounty hunter if you recieved this message... or some damn hack scamp, in which case you won't really be interested in what I'm about to say. I'm the sheriff of the Fogear Defensive Coalition, we keep order in this little bit of this particular galaxy. You may or may not know that the Vianazo pirates have been plauging this area for quite some time and we've lost a number of men trying to stop them. Now, here's the interesting part. The Vianazo gang has recently been lured onto the planet Namegro, with a promise of some fat loot.... of course there isn't any. A device was then activated preventing any ships from leaving the surface. They can still land, but then they're stuck. We, however, are not willing to risk any more men taking on these pirates... so we've opened up this choice opportunity to several proffesional hunters. Go in, be the first to bag the Vianazo's, and you get the bounty... a cool 10 mil. We'll know when you've done it, and we'll turn off the device preventing ships from leaving. You'll be competing with anyone else there, to get the bounty, and the Vianazo's aren't nothin to scoff at... and, of course, you won't be able to leave until someone takes care of the Vianazo's. If you accept, all you have to do is head to Namegro... you'll get details when you land." The vidcast cuts out.

Upton, Elsa manages minor maintenance by herself with her little service droids... your access to her programming is nearly null unless you are given conditional access for an upgrade... or you hacked in. That, however, would run the risk of Elsa noticing, and she would of course alert Treya.

Keiko she puts the sandwich on a plate with some potato salad stuff and grabs a can of the captains favorite drink and puts it on a tray then heads to the captains cabin and knocks on the door to her cabin.

Elsa chimes in your cabin. "Acknowledged. Plotting course."

Treya hmms and sits at her somewhat dusty computer, looking for AI programs.

Upton doesn't want to piss off the captian and the goes to look over Renold's shoulder to makle sure he hasn't blown anything up again.

Treya, there is a knock at your door.

Treya says, "Come in."

Keiko opens the door and enters with the tray. "I brought you some lunch captain."

Treya says, "Oh, thanks kid."

Keiko puts the Tray on the table. "Peanut better just the way you like it." She grins.

Treya nods and has a bite while she waits for the programs to load. "Mmms'good."

Renald is currently banging a hammer repeatedly into a bit of metal. He then stops and grabs a wrench, ratcheting a bolt that allready seems quite tight onto an obscure, small bit of machinery. He does this... for quite awhile.

Upton says, "How;s it coming kid?"

Keiko says, "Anything interesting up?""

Treya, Elsa kind of allready DOES that. Combat strategy and theorum is a basic part of her analytical AI system.

Keiko says, "Sorry Treya. Was just trying to be helpful."

Upton finish up a praticular effective routine, "Okay, I'll go see her." then he get an amused look on his face, "At least Elsa says mister," then heads to the captains quarters.

Upton soon arrives at Treya's quarters!

Keiko "Well she might not always." Grins and follows Upton back to Treya's cabin.

Treya says, "You. Get this one for me for free."

Upton arrive in a workout outfit, 'Ya wanted to see me captain?

Treya points at the AI she wants.

Treya indicates a computer screen with a two million credit AI personality upgrade.

Upton looks at it and ponder if he can make one better up from scratch.

Treya says, "Can you get it for me or not?"

Upton, you are rather good at what you do, but you also don't have the same facilities, tools, consultants and other such things as these guys. On the otherhand, you're not burdened with any of that corporate nonsense either.... it's entirely possible, but you'd have to be very careful not to leave any bugs in, what with the AI running the ship and all. Personality quirks could result in a HAL 2000 incident.

It certainly wouldn't be quick. Or, well, it could, but there'd be a much greater chance of leaving flaws and bugs in.

Upton says, "Yep I sure can give enough time and nearly unrestricted access to Elsa' commuters."

Treya says, "Nevermind, I'll...ugh...buy it."

Treya says, "You two go do something while I work up the nerve to do it."

Keiko says, "Can't you just hack the site and snag it? Course that would take a lot of programs that you probably don't have captain. Finding a back door could be hard and routing and covering your tracks could be tricky. They probably have a good defense.""

Upton says, "What, I can save ya millions and you won't have to worry about any problems often found in commercial products."

Keiko says, "Alright Treya. Anything you need done?" She gathers up the recent clothing additions to the captains floor for the laundry."

They're also probably not storing their very expensive AI on the server the use to advertise it...

Treya saves it in her little window thing. "Get get, I've got things to do."

Upton says, "Well then, the least I can do is go through the one you buy and look for the countless envitible glitches, bugs and security risk found in commercial products"

Treya says, "We'll see."

Keiko heads to the laundry and puts Treya's clothes into the cycler. Then goes on up to the bridge and sites down at the monitor and plugs into her school server.

Upton says, "See ya captian."

Upton heads back to the gym.

Treya says, "Right..."

Treya gets her gear together for the fightin.

Elsa is still on her way to Namegro. The trip won't take too much longer

Treya heads to her training area to get warmed up, doin her thang.,

Upton will shower after training and then lay in his room pondering was for that Treya can trust him more.

Soon enough, Elsa informs everyone that they have arrived at Namegro. She asks Treya if she should land.

Upton heads out of his room in his usal attire and heads tot eh cockpit and looks out at this new world.

Treya says, "Hmm...and open my special armory. I wanna use the rocket launcher."

Upton says, "Watcha know about this rock we're land'n on?"

Treya says, "It's got a fat bounty on it."

Elsa lands on the planet, which seems mainly composed of wilderness. There is no real civilization to be seen.

Treya lifts the heavy launcher form it's holder and caresses it lovingly.

"Warning. Impulse destabilizer present on planet. Lift-off impossible." Elsa says helpfully.

Keiko turns off the training programs and gets up when Treya lands. "So what are we doing here?"

Upton says, "Looks habitable. Any B&E involved?"

Treya says, "Any what now?"

Upton says, "Breaking and Entering."

"Com-recieved." Elsa pipes up again.

<OOC> GDMSkullrama says, "Basically, you would know enough about it to know that it screws the impulse drive of a ship so that it can't get lifting power. Warp core on planet surface is basically suicide. So unless you can build a rocket engine to lift a ship out of the atmosphere with the materials in a jungle and the non-oil based stuff on the Elsa, you're pretty stuck."

Keiko says, "Treya why is there a thing to keep us from taking off?""

Upton says, "Cause someone wants something down here not to go back up REALLY badly."

Keiko Waits curious.

Elsa ejects a few sheets of paper. They give the location of the Vianazo Pirates ship, though not the location of wherever the pirates may be at the moment... especially if they spread out. They also make it clear that several other bounty hunters have taken up the challenge, so you will have competition. The ship is located quite a hike from your current position, but you were lucky enough not to land on the other side of the planet from it or something.

It's going to take a few days of hiking to get there.

Keiko says, "Oh ok... Guess we better get them then.""

Treya hmms and shoulders her baby, and holsters her normal guns. "I don't think you should come kid."

Upton says, "Clear, may I see what sort of demolitions, communications and Medical supplies you have available?"

Upton gets his own essential items and see what Elsa has available and stocks up.

Keiko says, "I can still be helpful...""

That depends on if Treya gives you access to the armory.

Treya gave SUPERVISED access.

Upton takes what he can carry that woukd be required for a mission of this type(assume Military sceinces will allow me to guess what is properly needed).

Well, there's a few pistols, some rifles, but most fun would be the explosives. Treya has quite a collection of these, ranging from grenades to mortars, even a few mines, of the proximity kind. She rather lacks tactical explosives in favor of attacking explosives.

There's not alot of sneaky devices in Elsa's armory.

<OOC> Upton says, "Does she have any blasting caps for my left over plastique?"

She does have a couple smallish remote activated explosives in a dusty corner of the room. They seem to have been ignored in favor of the bigger explosives.

Treya likes the big ones..and loads up on some grenades. ^^

Upton selects a rifle, a cross-sections of the mines and the dusty remote activated explosive, "This should be nice." thne he looks for any portible medical supplies.

Keiko says, "What should I take Treya?""

Treya says, "Can you shoot a gun?"

Treya grabs an odd silver one. "Here, you have to shoot slow or it'll over heat."

Keiko says, "Alright." Yes I can.""

Keiko takes the silver gun. "I have to aim so I don't shoot as fast as you."

Upton also has his toolbelt w/ multi-tool, diagnostic scanner and plastique, which he can add to the explosives he found.

Elsa is equipped with first aid kits, and you also find a few stabilizing drugs for severe emergancies as you rummage around as well as some anti-venon for general poisons... but other then that, she's not exactly a hospital.

Treya hands Keiko a battery pack. "For when it runs out."

Upton takes those, attaches them to his toolbelt and harness, "Captain, what do we have for trail rations?

Treya says, "Trail whats now? I'm gonna make some sandwiches for myself."

<OOC> Treya says, "Like a picnic! With guns. :D"

Keiko says, "Alright. Got any packs and things? Its a few days.""

Treya says, "Yup. Elsa open the uh...back pack cabinet. It has some name I never recall."

Keiko has reconnected.

Upton says, "Some packs would be nice. Are you sure its not call a survival locker?"

Keiko She heads to the kitchen area and begins to mass produce sandwichs with Treya.

Elsa opens up a small panel which contains some rather basic packs, little more then ruck-sacks really.

Treya shrugs. "Hell if I know."

<OOC> Keiko says, "suddenly there was nothing :)"

Upton takes one of the rucksacks and puts what gear he can't put on his tool belt in there, "Are you sure you don't have any survival or emergency rations or even a water purifier?

Keiko gets a pack for herself and Treya and begins to shovel in sandwiches.

Upton, when you looked over the supplies during the boring trip, you actually noticed several MRE type supplies had been ordered. Treya mroe then likely just hands over the supply list Elsa prints out to the warehouse manager... after adding about ten mroecarts of peanut butter between the lines.

Upton says, "Sandwiches are awfully bulky and rather perishable."

Treya says, "You can carry what you want."

Keiko says, "Peanut butter and bread will last several days."

Upton gathers up MREs and piles them into the rucksack and looks for a portable water purifier.

Treya says, "Welp I'm all ready to go. Kid you're my official ammo carrier."

Treya tosses Keiko a rather heavy pack.

Keiko puts several bottles of water in her pack and gives some to Treya for hers.

Keiko blinks. "Alright if you say so." She takes the pack.

Treya says, "Might as well be useful in some capacity right?"

Keiko, it's pretty heavy, being full of metal things. You are now the pack mule.

Treya says, "Elsa arm all defenses. If anyone other then myself or a registered crew member approaches shoot them."

Renald steps out of the engine room area. "SUCCESS!"

He looks around. "Huh? Where are we?"

Treya says, "going to kill some pirates or something. Wanna come?"

Elsa pipes up with "Acknowledged."

Upton is loaded up and looks at Renald, "You finished? Have you tested it yet?

Keiko says, "Success at what?""

Treya barely even knows who she's about to shoot. XD

Renald scratches his helmet. "Uh, blood and stuff isn't exactly my forte. I think I'll just.. invent a jelly-bean... inventor. Or something." He slinks back into the engine room without answering the other questions.

Upton says, "Captain, might I suggest Elsa to stun the kid if he doesn't anything more major then invent harless devises?"

Upton, you think you have it jury-rigged pretty good, having messed with this device so often before, but the range will only be within a mile since it's not really the intended use of your scanner... at all.

Upton says, "I should be able to detect any comm trafic within a few klicks radius from here."

Upton keeps monitoring his jury rigged devise as they walk.

Keiko continues walking along swatting at bugs now and again. "Annoying little bastards."

The treck is arduous for some (one) not so much for others. As the sun sets, Keiko is not exactly in tip-top condition. Lugging around the ammo on the uneven ground all day takes it's toll.

Treya says, "We're making good time at least."

Upton also begins to feel exhausted... he hasn't done this much actual cross-country without a vehicle in some time.

Only Treya seems like shejust had some brisk excersise.

Upton yawns a bit, "Its been a while since I have had to hike at all.

Upton says, "My folk back on Terra on the ranch in Texas encourged us kids to use motorized transprotation as little as passobile. You think I'm a Heehaw, well my family is as trandtionalist as they come."

Upton snorts, "Camel are for Aussies. My family raise horses in addtion to having a cattle ranch and dairy farm.

Upton see he can switch is devise over to a motion detector and alarms system.

Unfortunately, your scanner is designed to scan electronics. You could set it's scanning beam to detect motion, but it would only do so in one direction... unless you had the materials to expand the beam... and you didn't bring a bunch of random electroncis on you. Security wasn't well thought out before everybody set off.

While you sit and ponder, you see a shadow. It quickly moves up to you, resolving into a man with long blonde hair and a thin, lithe form. He is dressed in dark, skin-tight clothes, covered in bandoleers. You can't tell what's in them yet. He smiles at you.

"Weeelll, Hello."

Upton subtle reaches for his rifle and says, "Howdy.
