The area you're in seems to be the beginning of some foothills... the start as gentle slopes, but soon become rather harsh inclines, forcing you totry and forge ahead via a switchback method

teyavara 's active camoflauge suddenly fails

Upton marks it on his map, hands Keiko a snakelight and pulls one out for himself.

Keiko says, "No body is chasing me like this. I... Oh hello there.""

When a freaky tailed guy keiko has seen before pops up.

And by pops up, I mean, is suddenly visible.

teyavara says, "Darn it... I need to watch that time-out. Hello.""

teyavara says, "It times out... I'm not done developing my transperincy glands... I happen to be the youngest in my organisation.""

Keiko says, "oh.. That makes sense... Wait... Transparency glands?... Never mind. I remember you. You helped me and the captain.""

Treya has connected.

Soon, you all arrive at the camp, Treya, you see them arrive, with an extra person in tow. Alveia drops off a tree branch from rather high above them, unsheathing a knife on his way down and holding it to Tey's throat as he lands. "And you are?"

teyavarain a matching voice I say "I told you before, my people have a vested interest in your safty."

"Ah, well, that's good." He smriks as he sheaths his knife rather slow. "The ground is... hard." He promptly falls over, clutching his knees and groaning.

Treya says, "Oh yeah I shot ya. Heh, you probly shouldn't leap from trees...and ok. You can tag along if you can keep quiet...and you're not moochin any of this bounty."

teyavara catches him with my tail

Keiko says, "Are you ok?... I though you were hurt."

"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just a gaping, recent bullet wound. Only a nuisance really." IT would be more convincing if he wasn't curled into a fetal position.

teyavara changing back into my normal form "I wouldn't dream of it. I'm at your command as ordered by the Staal spy-net."

Upton says, "Great a shapeshifter.."

Treya says, "Huh. Dunno if I like all this spy business."

"Nobody mind me. I don't need any help standing or anything. It's all good." Alveia moans rather pathetically.

teyavara says, "It's our only military branch... And I may be young but I'm a trained infiltrator."

Treya shrugs. "Kid help the crybaby out." She pulls out her tracker dealy and continues on.

Keiko says, "Which one?""

Treya nods to Alveia as she passes him.

Keiko says, "Come on Alv. Be careful."She offers Alv a hand up."

teyavara helps alevia to his feet

Alveia excepts both pairs of hands and is soon on his feet.

"It's Alveia, you know."

Keiko laughs. "Alright Al."

"Alveia." he responds as he starts trudging, despite obviously not being in great condition.

Treya says, "We got one more stop before we're there."

Keiko says, "Alright. just take it easy. You got shot up pretty good. I could try to heal you. But I might blow you up instead." She laughs."

Upton says, "Capitan, me at the Kekio located a cave not far from here."

Treya says, "Well let's head there for some real sleep before the fun tomorrow."

Alveia frowns at that. "Yeah, uh, I think I'll pass."

Treya says, "Then off you go."

You all head for the cave.

Upton heads to the cave

Treya, you settle down into something that's distinctly... not rock. A bit more yielding then you expected... warm.. soft.

Treya ....sits up.

Everyone else... you watch Treya lay down on a bear. The bear doesn't look happy.

Upton aims his rifle at it, "Um, usally you look before you lay...

Treya, whatever you were laying on starts to stand up.

Treya rolls to her feet, turning on it and drawing her guns. "Dinner." ^^

It bellows a perturbed roar as it stands up to 10 feet tall. A little big for most bears.

The bullet misses the bear and ricochets off the cave wall, narrowly missing Treya's nose. Hmmm... bullets in a highly enclosed rock area.

You succeed at this rather admirable, and plant a bullet into the bear's large gut. Blood splatters, with some blubber. Congratulation, you have made the 10 foot bear angry at you instead of Treya.

Treya merrily skips back a few steps and fires a couple rounds at it.

Treya's bullets go wild, ricocheting off the walls. Nobody gets hit this time... but Keiko hears one whizz by her ear.

Keiko lets out an Eeep then concentrates on the bear.

Keiko, you feel a little bit of the ol juice do it's magic. You haven't used it in some time... a force seems to be hurled from the air into the bear... with a small thud, akin to a middle schooler trying to punch a brick wall. The bear looks annoyed.

Alveia throws a knife at the bear.

Keiko says, "Well that was effective...""

The bear, however, knocks it out of the air with a big claw. It roars loudly, amplified by the echoing of the cave.

The shot is totally on target.... until the bear leaps over it and towards you, monstrously.

Treya says, "Good god it's some kinda alien bear!"

Keiko says, "Well bears aren't cute and cuddly."

Teya moves out of the cave quickly

Keiko says, "Im game for that!" Heads on out of the cave too."

The bear assists him with a claw to the back, hurling him into the air and out the entrance

You can hear Tey tumble down the hill.

Keiko?

Keiko says, "I think its time to go!" She runs on out of the cave quickly!"

Alveia beats feet out of the cave.

Upton attempts to set a proximity mine with a couple second delay for arming and run out of there.

Upton rolls 2d6 and gets 6 and 5.

The device beeps at you, alerting you to the fact that it's going to explode now instead. Treya may have bought these on the explosive flea market. Of course, setting it in a hurry didn't help. You do react fast enough to kind of roll-leap away, as it blows up behind you. And that would be 10 damage... fairly minor compared to what you hope happened to the bear, as the cave rumbles a bit. Also, you are now rolling down the hill along the same path Tey fell.

Upton yells as he rolles down the hill.

Congratulations, gang! I will name this moment 'Planet Namegro Complete Disaster Number 1'! I think you had about three on the resort planet.

Upton, your fall is slowed by rolling over the squishy body of your new alien friend. It groans at the contact, before trying to pull itself to it's feet.

Everybody eventually regroups. Upton is kind of cooked and picking mine fragments out of his back. Tey has a claw mark on it's back. Otherwise, everyone is fine.

A 'crawr!' sound directs anyone who care's attention to a black bird with a 7 foot wingspan. Alot of the animals seem big here. Hm.

Upton pulls out the medkit and starts tending to himself and their new freinds.

There are a few clearings that look campable. A quick check for mountain lions and other claw and fang bearing nasties reveals any of them to be clear!

Upton closes up the wound with some liquid skin, then works some himself.

Keiko sits back from the wood and concentrates on lighting it on fire.

Upton, he's gonna be okay once he gets time to heal. You don't know enough about Tey's biology to risk more then a bandage, and you're mostly just burned. Luckily, you weren't exploded.

Good ol ointment creams.

Treya has disconnected.

Keiko, you see some smoke rise from one of the pieces of wood... and then it bursts into flaming splintery pieces and sets some of the grass on fire.

Keiko is busy setting the camp on fire as everyone winds down.

Keiko says, "Oh crap." Runs over to stomp out the fire in the grass."

teyavara Stands up at this sight "Quickly get some of the dry grass away from it!"

Treya has connected.

Upton, your handy boyscout like wilderness survival saves the camp from an inferno. Now it just smells like burnt grass.

Keiko sighs and sits in an unburnt place to rest.

Upton uses his blow torch to start the campfire if it needs starting.

The smell lingers for awhile... luckily the grass isn't made out of plastic or hair.

Upton starts an orderly, non-camp-destroying fire.

teyavara makes sure there's no grass near the campfire just to be sure

Keiko eats a sandwich and sleeps.

Tey sets a ring of stones around the fire. How lovely.

Treya is soon snoring.

Upton looks at Tey, "Do you sleep?

Alveia leans against the base of a tree and sleeps. He manages to do this despite Treya's snores... he's obviously tired.

teyavara Shakes head "not like you. I sleep about 12 hours in a 76 hour period. Though I should tonight."

Upton says, "No, I am running on stimulants. Please take watch."

teyavara Nods "Alright... but I'll be like a log about 14 hours from now." and I try to climb a nearby tree

It's true... Upton hasn't slept in... quite awhile.

Everyone leaves the alien from the spy network to watch them for a good four or five hours. Tey, you do have the option of waking someone to take watch after that much... everyone else will probably sleep another three or four.

Do you just stay up the whole time, or have someone else take a turn?

Upton lays down and sleeps

Treya, there's something pushing you while you sleep.

Treya cracks an eye open. "...what?"

Iiiiit's the alien!

Treya throws her boot at Keiko.

Keiko, you think someone just stomped on your head. It wakes you up.

Keiko blinks jerking upright. "Whaaa!" She immediately concentrates on being safe in a panic.

Keiko rolls 2d6 and gets 2 and 1.

Keiko, the ground erupts around you, enasing you in a circular wall of solid earth, the only opening a few feet at the top.

Treya says, "...your watch."

Treya then lays back down to sleep.

Tey, you see that. Treya does too if she's not asleep again allready.

Keiko blinks "Well Wow."

teyavara sighs and climbs up on the earth wall "You alright in there?"

Unfortunately, you can't exactly move. Or see through it. Tey's face pops up in the top, about three feet above your head.

Keiko lets out a shriek started by Tey but relaxes. "What the hell was that I think I was hit in thehead by something." She rubs her ear.

teyavara says, "Treya threw a boot at you... Who throws a shoe? Honestly?""

Upton sleeps through the comotion

Sun went down... sun... hasn't exactly come up yet, but it probably will soon. Everyone who wasn't watching has gotten 8 and a half or so hours of rest.

Treya wakes up cheerily. "Morning!"

Keiko, you can see the ants crawling around in the grass... you concentrate too hard on one and it explodes.

After some trudging, Alveia catches up to the group, coming out from behind a tree. He puffs out of breath. "Um. You kinda left me there."

Upton hands Keiko a stimulant, "Here this should help.

Treya says, "Well then wake up when I do"

"...ah. Right." He falls in line, mumbling under his breath about an alarm clock.

Keiko says, "Um no my parents told me to just say no.""

Keiko says, "I was awake when you did... someone hit me in the head with a boot in the middle of the night."

Stims are medically certified to have no adverse side-effects! As long as you don't use the cheap third party ones. Or stay up with them for over 80 hours. Or... well, you probably get the drift.

teyavara says, "yeah but stim addiction is a plauge on my homeworld.""

Keiko says, "Maybe later i slept enough."

Addiction can be cured with an injection, as well! A horribly expensive injection. That's addictive.

You all move along... and you're soon quite near the point where the Vianazo's ship is supposed to be/

Treya hauls out her rocket launcher...a bit misty eyed. "Finally..."

Treya says, "I shoot this at their ship."

So, we have Treya's Plan (#1). A sketchy blue print of a stick figure holding a big tube, which it shoots at a big blocky looking ship. The last part is a big 'BOOM' with squiggly lines.

Keiko says, "well that does seem like it might be effective."

Treya nods sagely.

Upton takes a peek to see if the ship is really there.

teyavara says, "We could have me and someone else who can be subtle infiltrate the ship and kill the crew.""

Treya says, "My plan's easier."

Keiko says, "I suppose.""

teyavara says, "True, but mine gives us a second ship to scrap for parts and ammo.""

Upton, just over the hill is definately a ship. Quite a bit bigger then Elsa actually.

Treya says, "Mmm...we can just use the left over bits."

teyavara Takes out both pistols "If you insist"

It doesn't look like the kind of ship that can be blowed up with single rocket launcher to you.

Alveia, who was looking at the ground and being in the background looks up. "Whodawha?"

With a sigh he steps over to Tey. "Just don't make me look like a monkey or something."

teyavara says, "I've got something better." I cover him in my loose garment and activate my active camoflauge making us REALLY hard to see"

"Oof." He groans. "This cloak smells."

teyavara says, "It's kinda hard to find garments that work with my species' camoflauge. Keep up!" I go at a brisk pace trying to get under the ship"

And with that, the two of you move toward the ship. The first issue you run into is.... how exactly are you going to get inside.

Keiko Watchs. "Well this will be interesting."

The hatch is definately not open.

Treya says, "Think I could nail the hatch from here?"

teyavara searches for a maintainance hatch under the ship

And it doesn't seem to have a handle to open on this side.

teyavara says, "This should lead us to the maintainance area... which should have another hatch under the entryway.""

He comes out from under your cloak and runs his fingers along the handles of the knives in his bandoleer. He steps about 6 down from the top on the left, and takes it out. It's quite a bit thinner then the other knives of his you say.

Upton rolls his eyes.

"Let's see...."

It slides in easily.... he starts fiddling with it.

He jimmies it around for a few minutes before the hatch slides.... slightly. "Yeah. Well."

The air around you crackles, and then gets hard... before drifting off like normal, because it's air.

The bullets enter the switchboard which sparks and sputters for awhile. Nothing happens....

teyavara says, "Dammit!""

And then a loud voice bursts from the ship. "WELCOME INTRUDERS, TO THE GRAND VIANAZO BATTLE SHIP! UNFORTUNATELY, WE'RE NOT HOME AT THE MOMENT. HOWEVER, WE'D STILL LIKE TO PLAY A LITTLE GAME WITH YOU!"

teyavara stays put cursing my luck and starts pulling all the wires I can find

Everyone not in the maintenance hatch sees a platform lower from the nose of the ship... and anyone who recognizes their weapons knows that the large round thing coming out is a loaded anti-matter missile... which will destroy the area within about a mile or two. You're all quite a bit too close.. Treya could get away if she sacrificed everyone else though.

The wires spark alot.

Treya hmms a bit. "Well...er...that's no good."

Upton says, "Figures they would set off a trap."

Upton says, "Cover me, I am going to try to disable that missle."

teyavara gets out from the hatch and runs into the main hatch looking for the computer core

Treya says, "Cover you? With what?"

A drumroll plays from the ship as another platform lowers fro mthe ship, this one holding a table with a hollow top... "CRAPS! STEP RIGHT UP, TRY YOUR LUCK! SCANNERS HAVE DETECTED...." It pauses before a completely different sound, electronic voice says "5" then the old voice resumes "LUCKY GUESTS! STEP RIGHT UP, YOU EACH GET A TRY! OR DON'T! THE MISSILE BLOWS AFTER A MINUTE AND A HALF WITHOUT A PLAYER! WOOHOO!" The voice cuts off.
